Born in Thessaloniki in 1979, Petros Manganaris is considered as oneof the most promising talents of Greece’s contemporary electronicmusic scene. With production work spanning many and diverse musicalstyles through his numerous aliases, Petros releases dubby techno & electronica as the Echonomist, chill-out/downtempo grooves as a member of the popular INFO project, tech-breaks via the The Scientifics trio plus some quality minimal tech house as half of the Petter Pann duo. With residencies at the Elvis Bar and Liebe! club,Petros is famous for his groovy dj sets which incorporate the wholedance spectrum, from deep house to minimal techno, while his stunningand energetic live performances with his laptop and elaborate set-upare always received with excitement, expertly combining atmosphericrhythms with experimental and complex musical programming and pumping,crisp beats. Petros is also very busy as a label owner co-running V.I.M Records, one of Greece’s finest and most eclectic electronicmusic imprints.
